司会者：鹿が谷川の流れを慕いあえぐように、神よ、私たちのたましいはあなたを慕いあえぎます。
会衆：私たちのたましいは、生ける神を求めて渇いています。いつになれば、私たちは行って、神の御前に出られるのでしょうか。
司会者：私たちの心の最も奥深くの飢え渇き、つまり、私たちのたましいの飢え渇きを満たすことができるのは、最も深いお方であられる神だけです。だから、私たちの希望はその神のうちにあり、私たちは、私たちの助けであられる神をほめたたえます。
会衆：私のたましいよ、なぜおまえはうなだれているのか。神を待ち望め。私たちの希望は神にあるのです！私たちはなおも神をほめたたえます！私たちの救い、私たちの神を。
開会祈祷（列王記 第一 19章1～15節 & ヨハネの福音書 6章22～40節に基づく）
司会者：全知全能なる神様、あなたのいつくしみ深さと、あなたが私たちの神でいてくださることに感謝します。あなたは、預言者エリヤを邪悪な王妃(おうひ)イゼベルから守られたように、私たちのことも悪から守ってくださいます。私たちの必要なものを、必要なときに備えてくださり、私たちの心に語りかけては、私たちのことを導いてくださいます。あなたに感謝し、あなたの御名をほめたたえます！
会衆：神のみことばなるイエスは私たちを自由にし、聖書のみことばは私たちのことを養い、いのちを与えてくださいます。あなたの御霊によって私たちに、みことばを聞く耳を与え、あなたの御心に従順に応えていくための心を与えてください。
司会者：主よ、あなたの御国の到来(とうらい)のために祈ります。その時に、この地は新しく、そして完全にされるのです。また世界中の国々のために祈ります。世界の国々があなたの統治を喜んで受け入れられますよう。また、国のリーダーたちに知恵と謙虚さが与えられ、彼らが平和をつくる者として働くことができますように。そして、最も弱い立場にある者たちのために祈ります。そう、絶滅の危機にある生き物たちや、貧しい方々、難民となっている方々、暴力の犠牲者たち、精神的、身体的、霊的な病を患っている方々のためにです。私たちがあなたからの召しに従順に生きることで、彼らがあなたのいつくしみ深さを体験することができますように。
会衆：私たちは、あなたの御力以外の力を恐れ、またあなたの御声以外の声に聞き従ってしまっていることを告白します。キリストを通して、あなたは私たちに癒しや平安、自由を与えてくださっているのに、私たちの心はあなたから離れ、空っぽになり、奴隷のように支配されてしまっています。私たちをお赦しください。そして私たちを悪から救い出してください。あなたへの飢え渇きを満たし、もう一度あなたの聖なる道に連れ戻して下さい。
司会者：イエスこそ、神が天から与えられたマナ、いのちのパンです。キリストは、バプテスマの水で私たちを覆(おお)い、洗いきよめ、復活の力によって私たちの赦しを宣言してくださっています。この良い知らせに、今日もう一度確信を持ちましょう！
会衆：神様に感謝します！イエス・キリストの御名によってお祈りします。アーメン。
祝祷（ルカの福音書 8章26～39節に基づく）
司会者：神は、悪霊の軍団や闇の支配者たち、この世のすべての生き物を支配する権威と力を持っておられます。勝利は神にあるのです。そして神はその勝利を、復活の御子イエスを通して宣言されました。神によって遣わされたイエスは、病人を癒し、死人をよみがえらせ、悪霊を追い出すことによって、神の御国の到来を示されました。
会衆：私たちは癒され、贖われました。その私たちをイエスは、弟子としての旅へと送り出しておられます。そしてイエスに倣(なら)い、イエスに従うことができるよう、聖霊によって力づけてくださっています。
司会者：神は、私たちが信仰の旅を歩むために必要なものを十分すぎるほど備えてくださっています。イエスによって悪霊を追い出してもらったある人は、イエスにお供をしたいと願いました。しかしイエスは、神がどれほどのことをしてくださったかを自分の家族のところや自分の町に行って証しするようにと、その人を帰されました。イエスは今週、私たちのことも同じように遣わしておられます。今週一週間を過ごす時、ただ神だけをあがめなさい。悪の力に負けることなく、むしろ、あらゆる力を従わせることのできる神に信頼しなさい。自分自身が救いの中に入れられていることを喜びなさい。そして、人を愛し、人に分け与えることを通して、その喜びを表現しなさい。それによって、彼らもまたキリストを通して救いを受け取ることができますように。イエスの御名によって、さあ行きなさい。
会衆：愛し仕えるため、平和をもって行きます。アーメン。
Call To Worship (Based on Psalm 42)
Leader: As a deer longs for streams of water, our souls long for You, O God.
People: Our souls thirst for the living God, and we wonder how long until we may behold Your glory in its fullness?
Leader: Deep calls to deep, and we find our hope in God as we praise Him, our help.
People: Let us not be downcast in soul, but remember that our hope is in God! Let us again praise Him now and celebrate His goodness and mercy towards us.
Opening Prayer (Based on 1 Kings 19:1-15 & John 6:22-40)
Leader: Almighty God, we praise You for Your goodness and for being our God. You cast out evil and protect us, just as You protected Your prophet Elijah from the evil queen Jezebel. You provide what we need when we need it, and You continue to speak to our hearts and guide us so we give You thanks and praise.
People: Your Word frees us, and Your words feed us and give us life. Through Your Spirit, grant our ears an appetite for listening and make our hearts willing and responsive in obedience to Your will.
Leader: We pray for the coming of Your Kingdom, so that earth will be made whole and new. We pray for the nations, so that we may receive Your reign with gladness and so that leaders will be given wisdom and humility to be makers of peace. And we pray for the most vulnerable – creatures facing extinction, the poor and the refugee, victims of violence and those who are ill in mind, body, or spirit – so that they may experience Your goodness through us as we live out Your call.
People: We confess we submit to fear of any power other than Yours, and we listen to the voices of others instead of Yours. We are distracted, empty, and enslaved when You have offered healing, peace, and freedom in Christ. Forgive us: delivering us from evil, quenching our thirst for You, and bringing us back to Your holy way.
Leader: Jesus is the Bread of Life, manna come down from heaven. Christ covers us in baptismal waters, washing us clean, and declares our forgiveness through the power of His resurrection. Be assured of this good news again today!
People: Thanks be to God! In Christ we pray, Amen.
Benediction (Based on Luke 8:26-39)
Leader: We declare that God has authority and power over the legion of evil spirits, over the principalities of darkness, and over all living beings in this world. God will have victory and He has declared it through Jesus, His resurrected Son, whom He sent to declare the coming Kingdom and to demonstrate it through healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out the demons.
People: We have been healed and redeemed, and Jesus sends out on the journey of discipleship empowered with the Spirit to do likewise.
Leader: God gives us more than enough for our journey of faith. Just as Jesus sent the man back to declare to his family and to his city how much God had done for him, Jesus is also sending us out to do the same this week. Worship God alone, and do not be overcome by evil powers, but rather trust in God whom even the powers must obey. Rejoice in your salvation by loving others and sharing with them so that they may receive it through Christ. Go now in the name of Jesus.
People: We go in peace to love and serve. Amen.
