招詞（詩篇 118、マタイ 21:1～11に基づく)
司会：目覚めよ、救い主の勝利の日に！十字架へと続いていくこの日を、主に感謝せよ！ヤシの木の枝を持って「ホサナ！」と叫び、主に賛美せよ！
会衆：私たちは心を込めて主を歓(よろこ)び迎えます。主の御名によって来られる方には祝福があるからです！
司会：あの日キリストが大歓声の中エルサレムに入っていかれたように、私たちは今日、なつめやしとお祝いをもって、聖週間と呼ばれる、受難節最後の週に入っていきます。
会衆：今日は、６本あるろうそくのうちの最後の１本に火が灯っています。私たちはいよいよ十字架へと、そしてその先にあるお墓へと向かいます。
司会：私たちの救い主がろばに乗ってそうされたように、様々な感情と共に、へりくだってこの新しい週へと入って行き、平和のメッセージを宣言しよう！そして私たちの素晴らしい王に賛美を捧げよう！
会衆：ホサナ！ホサナ！ホサナ！
開会祈祷（マタイ 26:14～27:66、ピリピ 2:5～11に基づく）
司会：聖なる神様、あなたは御子が受けられた苦しみを通して、またそこに表れている愛を通して、この世のあり方についての、またあなたの民についての真実を示されました。
会衆：あなたが私たちに求めておられる謙遜の姿をもう一度示し、あなたに従順でいることをもう一度教えてください。そうすれば、イエスがゲツセマネの園で祈られたように、自分を空(むな)しくすることが、私たちが主の弟子となっていくための道となるでしょう。
司会：この聖週間に入っていく時、キリスト・イエスのうちにあるのと同じ思いを私たちも抱(いだ)くため、聖霊の力によって、あなたのみことばを通して私たちの心を開かせてください。
会衆：キリストは、神の御姿であられるのに、神としてのあり方を捨てられないとは考えず、人間と同じようになられました。そして、私たちを救うために、人としての姿をもって現れ、自らを低くし、死にまで、それも最も残酷な十字架の死にまで従われました。
司会：主よ、どうぞ私たちをあわれんでください。私たちは恩知らずで、自分の都合や快適さ、自分の欲求を満たすこと、そういった自分自身のことばかりに心を費やしてしまっています。
会衆：私たちは、内容の無い会話だったりソーシャルメディアで時間を無駄にし、娯楽や過食、怠惰といったことを通して無差別に自分自身の心と体を堕落させてしまっています。主よ、どうか私たちをお赦しください。そして、私たちが壊してしまったものを癒し、放ったらかしにしてしまっていたものを育て、養ってください。そして、あなたのうちにある完全な平和を知ることができるように、私たちをあなたのビジョンへと導いてください。
司会：神は、イエスを通して私たちのところに来てくださり、私たちが罪と死の支配から解放されるという良い知らせをもたらしてくださっています。イエスが従順に苦しみを受けられたことによって私たちは解放され、高く上げられる方、私たちの救い主キリストの御名によって、私たちは赦されているのです。
会衆：感謝して、キリストの御名によってお祈りします。アーメン。
祝祷（詩篇 31:9～16、イザヤ書 50:4～9に基づく）
司会：神様はあわれみ深いお方です。主は、私たちに代わって苦しみを受け、私たちが背負いきれない負債を代わりに背負う者として、キリストを私たちのもとに遣わしてくださいました。
会衆：だから、私たちはあなたに信頼し、そして告白します。「あなたこそ私たちの神です！」
司会：主は私たちに弟子の舌を与え、この世界の疲れた者を励ますためのことばを与えられました。この最も聖なる一週間に入っていくとき、キリストが弟子たちの足を洗われたように私たちも互いに足を洗い合い、また、十字架とお墓のメッセージを携えて行って、それを聞く者たちに、キリストが彼らのために死んでくださったということを知らせなさい。そして、約束されている復活と永遠のいのちにある希望を、彼らも待ち望むことができるようにしなさい。さあ行って、弟子をつくりなさい。
会衆：愛し仕えるため、平和をもって行きます。アーメン。
Call To Worship (Based on Psalm 118 & Matthew 21:1-11)
Leader: Awake to the day of triumph for our Savior! Give thanks for this day that leads to the cross! Come with your branches, hosannas, and songs!
People: We fill the air with welcome to the LORD, for blessed are those who come in the name of the LORD!
Leader: We enter this Holy Week, the final week of Lent, with this day of palms and celebration just as Christ entered Jerusalem, being greeted with shouts and cheers.
People: Yet we see one lone candle burning, and we know we are headed to the cross and ultimately to the tomb.
Leader: With a mix of emotions, let us enter humbly and proclaim a message of peace just as our Lord and Savior did as He rode on a donkey. And let us lift our praise to our awesome King!
People: Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna!
Opening Prayer (Based on Matthew 26:14-27:66 & Philippians 2:5-11)
Leader: Holy God, you reveal the truth about the ways of our world and about Your people in the suffering of the Son and His steadfast love.
People: Show us again the image of humility You desire for us, and teach us obedience so that self-emptying like Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane may be the pathway on our journey to discipleship.
Leader: Let Your Word break open our hearts through the power of the Holy Spirit, that we may enter into this Holy Week with the same mind that was in Christ Jesus:
People: Who, though He was God, cast it off in humility, and became a slave in human form and faced a most cruel death on the cross to save us.
Leader: We beg for Your mercy towards us: we are ungrateful and consumed with ourselves, our comfort, and satisfying our desires.
People: We waste our time with empty conversation and social media, and pollute our minds and bodies indiscriminately with entertainment, overeating and laziness. Forgive us, healing what we have broken, nurturing what we have neglected, and lead us to Your vision so that we may know the peace of wholeness in You.
Leader: God has come to us through Jesus, and brings the good news that we are freed from the weight of sin and death. Jesus’ obedient suffering releases us, and we are forgiven through the name of the One who is exalted: Christ, our Savior and Lord.
People: We give thanks and pray in Christ’s name, Amen.
Benediction (Based on Psalm 31:9-16 & Isaiah 50:4-9
Leader: God has been gracious to us, sending Christ to suffer in our place, and to pay the debt we can never repay.
People: So we trust in You and declare that You alone are our God.
Leader: The LORD has given us our mouths and anointed our tongues with a word to sustain the weary people of this world. So it is time to go out in this holiest of weeks, wash the feet of one another as Christ washed the feet of His disciples, and carry the message of the cross and the tomb so that others may know Christ died for them, and they may wait with anticipation for the hope of the promised resurrection and eternal life. Go and make disciples.
People: We go in peace to love and serve. Amen.
